The Chevy 2500 and 3500 both offer identical engine specs thanks to two impressive engine choices—a 6.6L V8 gasoline offering and a 6.6L V8 Duramax Diesel option. They also come in five identical trim levels—Work Truck, LT, Custom, LTZ, and High Country. The price points are similar as well, but the heavier-duty Silverado 3500 comes at a slightly higher starting price because of its more powerful capabilities (we’ll go into details below).
